Dancing Mind is a painting about the feminine spirit. The musical and graceful beauty of women is captured, taken apart and re-assembled. The music bars that hang from her hands allude to the musical tones of mothers singing to thier children, as well as to the ancient concept of the weaver who is many times represented as a spider, a woman, and sometimes as three women, known as the fates in ancient Greek mythology.
